I'm from road island witch!

It has been awhile since I have blogged and I am sorry just tied up with both kids now and my time is so limited when I do have free time I like to catch up on sleep! :) So anyhow today we went to the Milwaukee zoo with some friends of ours and we had a really good time. The weather was GREAT! This was Sawyers first big outing and of course first trip to the zoo! And guess what he slept the entire time except to get up to eat. So skip ahead a bit to the title of my blog we went on a train ride and there were some kids on the train just screaming and acting well like kids and one of the families did not care for all the noise and when the ride was over made it clear to the parents of the noisy kids that she did not care for the noise and the parent of the noisy kids yelled at her well I am from road island you little witch or something like that so Corey and I found that very funny because it means nothing who cares you are from road island but whatever so that was funny. ok so Kaden rode a horse and saw elephants and lions and bears oh my! He did so well just until the very end when it was a long enough day and we were all tired and ready to go I wanted to see the special bird exhibt but we passed on that since Kaden was acting up and Sawyer was hot and sweaty but both kids did so well! What a great time! We had a picnic lunch with sandwich spread sandwiches for me which brings back memories when my sister and I went to the zoo with my aunt Judi and uncle ron we always packed a lunch of that so that was kind of neat. There was so much that we saw and did that I could go on and on but I won't we just had a really good time and Kaden got to pick out whatever he wanted from the gift shop on Grandma nd Grandpa they gave him some money to spend and do whatever he wanted and I think he did everything he wanted and got what he wanted as well I got Kamryn a t-shirt and a sucker from the gift shop I hope she likes it. I bet her mommy and daddy won't like the sucker I got but I am the aunt and I can spoil her if I want to and I will! Well that will do it here. All is going well aside from the zoo we are adjusting well and Kaden is a wonderful big brother and a great mommy;s helper we have been truly blessed to have 2 healthy wonderful boys and could not ask for more except maybe more sleep but that will come in time. My wonderful husband did baby duty all night last night so I got a full nights sleep and it felt great! So he is now sleeping on the couch maybe preparing for another night of baby duty! That would be GREAT! He has off the next 2 weeks for shut down at work so extra help from him at night would be great I can catch up on 2 weeks of sleep and then maybe by then Sawyer will be sleeping maybe 6 hour stretches and give me a bit more solid sleep! :) Well till next time not sure when that will be but I am trying to keep up! Final Day

Well today is the last day being pregnant. The last day for Kaden to be the only little one around the house getting all the attention and all the love. It is a sad day for me I am having some hard times thinking that Kaden was our little baby and now he is getting to be so big and now there is a new baby coming and wondering what he is thinking and praying he does not hate us for bringing another baby home to love and cherish just as much as we have done with him for the past 2 1/2 years. Yet I know he will grow to love him/her and hope they grow up to be best friends like me and my sister. Today I have my final doctors appointment and a funeral and I hope I can get some rest tonight. Kaden is staying by my parents tonight which he is very excited about! My sister and Kamryn are coming down so Jen is here when the baby comes. So Kaden can play with Kamryn this weekend while mommy is in the hospital. Bill is going to try to keep the same routine as normal and spend some extra special time with Kaden to make sure he is ok and feels special still. I got Kaden some tractors that we picked up at Fleet Farm the other day to give him when he comes to viist as a little something special for him to open. I am not sure how well he will take seeing mommy in the hospital and ivs and so on so I hope the little gift will help distract him for a little while. So I have been busy getting some last minute things cleaned around the house and getting grocerys for Bill and Kaden for the weekend and just trying to stay calm and not think to much about Friday. I just can't wait for this to all be over and I can just work on recovery and getting back to a somewhat of a routine with the newest bundle of joy! So you won't hear from me for while as I am sure I will be busy and sleep deprived for a little while but I will try to get on as much as I can and post pictures often! Till next time good bye!

Quick Update

Today I had my normal weekly appointment and found out that the baby is breech. Dr. scheduled an ultrasound right away instead of waiting another week and it confirmed his thoughts and the baby weighs 8 lbs 6 ounces give or take a pound of course for ultrasound error and all is well. Doctor gave me the option to do a c-section or try and rotate baby well I want so bad to have a vaginal birth I opted right away to try to move baby well doctor said fine tommorow morning be here at 8 am with your husband and that was that. I said how painful will this be he said to be honest it will hurt and also FYI incase baby goes into distress you may need to do an emergency c-section hence the reason your husband should be along. Well ok fine but the more I thought about it on the way home I called Bill and decided why put baby in any unnessecary danger or stress just because I am selfish and want a vaginal birth. So we have now opted out of turning baby and having a c-section next Friday at 7:30 AM. So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers this upcoming week and certainly on Friday! I am scared but know that this is best for the baby and that is all I want right now! Thats is all for now. Watch for updates and announcements by my sister Jen I would think and pictures!

Farm Living

Kaden got to experience a touch of farm living this past weekend. He has seen cows and the fair but nothing like this at a real farm with calves and dogs and cats and cow poop and the smell! How fun so Corey and Sheila are good friends of ours and Sheilas parents live on a farm and so we went over there for a visit and wanted to see what Kaden would do or think of it all. Well he loved it! He loved the calves most but they were a bit scared of Kaden and the big cows he was ok with as well they came up and licked him and sniffed him what a good time Kaden did not want to leave. He however does not like "Snickers" the saint bernard they have she was a bit fiesty for him and much bigger as well but Snickers sure did like Kaden. So we had a good time and will be back again I am sure to see them all again. Thanks Corey and Sheila for letting us come and visit! Now also I got a bunch of flowers from my parents for my upcoming birhtday and so we planted them on Sunday and I took pictures I really like how they turned out they look really nice I went with mostly perinanals that come up every year so it would not be so expensive for future years and then I can get bushes for the back of the house that we need to finish landscaping as well. My father in law also finished the baby's dresser so I took a picture of that so you can all see what that looks like it is still in the garage airing out until later this week we will bring it in and load it up but it still stinks a little of stain or whatever so it is airing out I do however like the smell a pregnancy thing I guess they tell me! :) So that is all I have going on I am done with work now until baby comes which feels nice I have more time to relax and get cleaning or nesting before the little comes and the pressure is off of me as well for what I all need to do yet. So that is a nice feeling we have everything we need to get started with the baby so money is ok now may get a little tighter since now 1 full time income is all we have for 12 weeks or so but we will make due I am sure we did with Kaden. So I think that brings you all up to date on the late breaking news. I hope you all enjoy the rest of the day it was suppose to rain today but I see that held off and it is a wonderful day! A little scary

Yesterday I had a little scare I got blurry vision in my right eye and saw all these different lights flashing around really strange. It happened 2 times 1 before work and then once again at work lasting about 10 minutes or so. So I got home took some tylenol cause by now I have a headache and it went away and had a small headache this morning but I talked to my sister and she said just call the doctor to make sure so I did and they wanted to see me right away. So I call Jaime my sister in law across the street and said can you watch Kaden and she gets all excited why is the baby coming and I laughed and said no and blah blah blah well I went to the doctor and everything checked out fine but my doctor still does not like that it happened so he said if it happens again I want you in the office and take your blood pressure well silly me was at work last ngiht ( at the pharmacy) and did not take it then! DUH!!! So now all is good now and I feel better that all checked out ok today and I go for my next and final ultrasound June 11 and that is a weight check and if baby is measuring 10 lbs he wants to perform a c-section the next day June 12th a Friday. Well I am not all that convinced I am thinking maybe have him strip my membranes Friday and just let me go another week and see what happens and then if that following Friday nothing then go ahead with the c-section. That term freaks me out and I am really scared to have it done all together. I know people have them all the time and really like them more then going through the labor. But the pain after and staples and all that yucky scary stuff bothers me. So I have some time to think about it and go from there. I trust my doctor but I just wish he would not be so quick to the knife I understand he does not want me to have another 11 lb baby bless his heart neither do I. So if the ultrasound shows it is a 9 lb baby or less he will let me go since ultrasounds are give or take a pound or so. So maybe you all could weigh in on this and let me know what your thoughts are if you were in this situation would you just go with the flow and follow doctor or would you step in and say not just yet please. So that had been our day in a nut shell nothing much happened all that exciting. No pictures to share I just wanted to share this news our weekend was good goes by so fast and the baby's room is finally ready so I need to get the car seat installed and all should be good for the little one to come any day I hope!! Go Fly a Kite!

Wow it has been awhile since I last blogged sorry about that. So we have been pretty busy around here getting ready for the baby and also our basement has flooded twice in the last 2-3 weeks so we or should I say Bill has been busy getting that all cleaned up we have a finished basement so it makes the clean up twice as hard this time we filed a claim with our insurance agency and now ripped out all the carpenting and vinyl in the bathroom downstairs so this has been a big job. So that has been our fun lately. Now Mothers day I will just hit the big events since it has been awhile not real sure what all went on the last few weeks. So Mothers day we spent with Bills family. Bill did not get me anything for Mothers day this year I told him all I wanted was a pedicure for Mothers Day before baby comes so my sister and I are doing that over Memorial Day weekend Saturday we are having a sisters day gettting our feet done and doing lunch and maybe a little shopping! I can't wait it will be fun and much deserved! Then last night we celebrated Mothers Day with my mom and family since Jen and Ken are down this weekend for turkey hunting and were not down last weekend which was fine with my mom and me as well not running all day on Mothers Day was nice. So we went out to eat at The Iron Ridge in which was really good I like the fish there! So we did that and came back to my parents hung out for a little while and came home. And as far as doctors appointments for me I just went this past Thursday again and I only gained 3 pounds in 2 weeks!!!! Yeah for me! Weight has been a concern of doctor as I sometimes gain 7 or so pounds in a short time so I am really trying to watch what I eat and it must be working it helps also that it has been nice out so I get outside with Kaden and run with him and take walks all that helps keep me going and the weight down! So I have my next ultrasound in about 4 weeks really close to my due date my doctor just wants a real good idea on the size of the baby since Kaden was so big. Which I really appreciate him doing! He says he does not think this one will be that big he says maybe not a 6 lb baby but not a 11lb baby either so I really hope he is right 9 lbs would be great!!!! So that is all about that. Today we went to FDL to get Bills haircut and do a little Walmart shopping and so we did that later morning and got home and since it was so windy out I decided we should get Kadens kite out from Auntie Jen from Easter and try that in the back yard so we did and Kaden laughed he thought it was pretty neat! He is pretty good at that all by himeself! So the rest of the weekend is relaxing and I need to clean the kitchen floor sometime this weekend maybe Sunday afternoon at Kadens nap. But that will do it. We really also need to get the baby's room all in order as well! We will see how much really is getting done this weekend if not next weekend is a long weekend maybe then.
