flu

Hello, Just an update today was Sawyers 4 mnth check up and he is 18 lbs 1 ounce and 27 inches long. He is growing so fast we are going to start cereal followed by his veggies and fruit! Yeah!!!!! He also got a bunch of shots 3 actually he was only going to get 2 and a rotovirus drink but the nurse made a mistake and gave him a flu shot that was suppose to be for Kaden. Oops and Sawyer is to little for the flu shot should not be given until 6 months old the nurse felt terrible and I think she was crying but no real harm done he may run a higher fever tonight so we have to keep up on his tylenol for the night and he should be ok the doctor said. They were really good about this and explained what happened and what to do. I am a bit nervous on the long term affects but what can I do it is over with. Kaden then got his flu shot and did great he never even cried what a big boy! He will be going back later this month for his H1N1 shot his peditrician said he should get it, it going around like crazy already and I don't want to take the risk. So that is our news for the day no pictures from today. Corey and Sheila are watching the kids Saturday so Bill and I can go on a date for our wedding anniversary and his birthday. We are going to see "Couples Retreat" and then eat at Applebees maybe do a little shopping still looking for a halloween costume for Kaden. Well goodnight for now

time flys

So here I am again way behind on blogging. I uploaded some pictures that my sister in law Maria had been taking of the kids and she takes really nice pictures and so I put them on to view and see how the kids are growing so fast! SO a quick update both kids just got over dble ear infections and colds. We are getting ready for Halloween and trick or treating. Not sure what Kaden is going to be this year I am hoping for a elephant costume my sister found on ebay for only 15.oo much less than in stores! Up this week Tuesday is Bill's birthday and Thursday is our wedding anniversary 4 years! Sawyer has been fussy lately I think teeth are coming in or a tooth whatever it is making him unhappy! He goes for his 4 mnth check up this Friday with shots and I think I am getting Kaden a flu shot as well he is in day care part time now and I just don't want to take the risk of him getting something or me bringing something home from work and him getting it. Sawyer is to little else he would be getting one as well. We are getting birth to 3 program to come to our house and evaluate Sawyer since his head has a tendancy to always look right and they say that happens when babys are born big such as Sawyer 9 lbs and also breech as was Sawyer so we have a therapist coming in to evaluate him and get him some therapy to correct that before it gets worse and starts affecting him in other ways. So that had been our life thus far nothing real important going on. It has been really cold and snowing off and on sometimes which seems really early but whatever. I love fall just not the real cold temps and the snow. Being stuck inside with 2 kids is enough to drive you nuts you run out of things to do with them. yeah!!!!

I got Sawyer to nap in his crib!!! He has been in his swing but is getting to big for that so as hard as this was I let him cry it out for nap and off to sleep he went! Yeah!!!! I LOVE YOU PEANUT!!!!!

its a crazy life but it is our life!

So life has been a little crazy here at the Krapfl house. As you can tell I have not been blogging nearly as much as I should but lots going on. The Dodge County fair has come and gone and my sister and Kam came down for that and that was a good time. Kaden loved it of course seeing all the animals and tractors. The food was good as always I had cotton candy of course and a cheeseburger and my very first funnel cake I know I know I lead a boring life! So these are the pictures from the fair and some odds and ends of Kaden and Sawyer as well. So that was a good time. Now I am back to work and keeping busy with that. I work Tuesday and Wednesday nights and Thursday Friday days 9=2 and my 1 full Sat. a month 9-5. The kids will be going to my sister-in-laws for the days I work and that will be nice to get them with other kids. We also took Sawyer down to Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee to get a second look at his breathing problem and the doctors and nurses are just wonderful and they do think he indeed has Larynomalacia or tracheamalacia both there is nothing to do except wait it out and he will grow out of this my 18mnths which seems forever away! But I know he is fine and will not die from this so that is good to know. He is not the only kid that has that. It could be alot worse. My only concern is with cold and flu season around the corner and doctor did say that if he gets a cold that could be hard on him so we will be real cautious as far as taking him out with crowds for the season as hard as that will be I need to keep him safe as possible that could be life threating if he gets a cold to block his airways even more. Bound to Happen

So today was my first day back to work since Sawyer and it was a great day I was really looking foward to going back and getting into the swing of things again. When I got home however Kaden ran into the corner of the bathroom door which required a trip to the emergency room for stiches. However they did not do stiches thank goodness they were able to glue the wound together it is spack in the middle of his forehead as you can see from my sideways picture. But he was such a brave little boy and did not cry at the hospital at all! How brave and he got a sucker and some stickers for being so brave. Then we went to my uncles retirement party and stayed for a little while and now are at home and hopefullty have a safer rest of the weekend we need a helmet for Kaden way to many close calls. last few

Well it has been awhile since the last time again time just gets away from me. We had Sawyers baptism that went really well he slep through the entire service until pictures then woke up for them which was really nice of him:) So here are some pictures of that. Also I went up by my sister Wednesday night and stayed till Thursday afternoon which was fun as always. Sawyers first sleep over at Auntie Jen and Uncle Ken which he did not really like a new enviroment and just did not sleep well but he also has dble ear infection so that may have played a role in everything as well. But all is going much better now with medicine and all. He did really good today slept alot and overall just a happier baby today which was nice to see. I hope all the medicine will help get him back to his happy self that I have not seen in awhile. This weekend we have not a thing planned which is great. I want to catch up on some cleaning and just relax as a family. Next week I am having a play date Wednesday at the FDL park and then Friday I need to take my mom to the eye doctor she needs to get her eyes dilated and then can't drive after that so that is my week in a neut shell. We had corn on the cob tonight for supper and so I took a picture of Kaden eating it outside due to the mess and he LOVED IT! Yummy!!!! Very good this time I had it earlier this week and it was not good this time I went to Gordy Neitzels stand downtown Mayville and it was EXCELLENT!!! Well that is it time to get the kids tubby and off to bed Kaden only slept maybe 1/2 hour for nap and it is starting to show! Oh dear! Good night
