carve it up

Today was a nice relaxing day. We watched football all day Go Pack Go!!! :) And then we carved the kids pumpkins. They turned out really nice. Kaden nor Sawyer were real interested but it is a tradition I want to keep going because I remember doing this with my dad as well. So that is what we did today. Yesterday we went on our date night that was alot of fun. We laughed and joked around without kids it was a nice time. We got Kaden his Halloween costume which is a fireman outfit and also just touched a little on Christmas shopping. The movie " Couples Retreat" was a good movie a kind of dumb ending but had some really good parts as well. It made me think of my marriage and look into things a bit and realize every marriage has its problems every couple has there issues and its ok. You need to keep working on your own marriage and remember why you said those vows and to keep them. It is so easy for some people to just give up for whatever reason but if you truly want it to work and want to work on it then it will work and be all that it can be but it takes 2 people to do it. So anyhow that is what I got out of it as well as good laughs. So I would recommend seeing it if not in a theater just rent it. Well that is all for now enjoy the pictures. flu

Hello, Just an update today was Sawyers 4 mnth check up and he is 18 lbs 1 ounce and 27 inches long. He is growing so fast we are going to start cereal followed by his veggies and fruit! Yeah!!!!! He also got a bunch of shots 3 actually he was only going to get 2 and a rotovirus drink but the nurse made a mistake and gave him a flu shot that was suppose to be for Kaden. Oops and Sawyer is to little for the flu shot should not be given until 6 months old the nurse felt terrible and I think she was crying but no real harm done he may run a higher fever tonight so we have to keep up on his tylenol for the night and he should be ok the doctor said. They were really good about this and explained what happened and what to do. I am a bit nervous on the long term affects but what can I do it is over with. Kaden then got his flu shot and did great he never even cried what a big boy! He will be going back later this month for his H1N1 shot his peditrician said he should get it, it going around like crazy already and I don't want to take the risk. So that is our news for the day no pictures from today. Corey and Sheila are watching the kids Saturday so Bill and I can go on a date for our wedding anniversary and his birthday. We are going to see "Couples Retreat" and then eat at Applebees maybe do a little shopping still looking for a halloween costume for Kaden. Well goodnight for now

time flys

So here I am again way behind on blogging. I uploaded some pictures that my sister in law Maria had been taking of the kids and she takes really nice pictures and so I put them on to view and see how the kids are growing so fast! SO a quick update both kids just got over dble ear infections and colds. We are getting ready for Halloween and trick or treating. Not sure what Kaden is going to be this year I am hoping for a elephant costume my sister found on ebay for only 15.oo much less than in stores! Up this week Tuesday is Bill's birthday and Thursday is our wedding anniversary 4 years! Sawyer has been fussy lately I think teeth are coming in or a tooth whatever it is making him unhappy! He goes for his 4 mnth check up this Friday with shots and I think I am getting Kaden a flu shot as well he is in day care part time now and I just don't want to take the risk of him getting something or me bringing something home from work and him getting it. Sawyer is to little else he would be getting one as well. We are getting birth to 3 program to come to our house and evaluate Sawyer since his head has a tendancy to always look right and they say that happens when babys are born big such as Sawyer 9 lbs and also breech as was Sawyer so we have a therapist coming in to evaluate him and get him some therapy to correct that before it gets worse and starts affecting him in other ways. So that had been our life thus far nothing real important going on. It has been really cold and snowing off and on sometimes which seems really early but whatever. I love fall just not the real cold temps and the snow. Being stuck inside with 2 kids is enough to drive you nuts you run out of things to do with them.
