What a great day

Today we went to my gradmas church for her 80th brthday! We have not seen her in awhile which I feel really bad about! She lives in Randolph now so it its a comute for us but we need to get over there more since I have no idea how much longer she will be with us. She looked really good and was happy that we made it to church to visit with her. So we took a picture of all the gradkids that were there and everyone was there this time except Alyssa and David and Mitch he was there but left before pictures. It was great to visit with her. Next time Jen is down we are taking Grandma out to lunch which will be great to see her again and visit some more. After we had cake and ice cream after church we went to my parents to visit with Jen and Ken and Kam which is always a good time and had a late lunch and then they left and I got Kaden to take a nap around 4 so we left him sleep till around 5:30 or so and woke him up and ate supper and then played for awhile and left to go home to do bath and relax for the night! It was a nice day considering all the snow over night! We are all feeling better my energy is still low but feeling better everyday! Kaden is sounding good too!! So that was our weekend nothing much Friday or Saturday! Oh Bill put up the blinds in the bathroom that looks nice the valance I ordered is the wrong color so I need to return that and order a different color but he commented tonight that he thinks the bathroom is warmer now keeping in more heat so I did a good thing! Dads are great!

Well the weekend if over and what a nice weekend it was. Our family has begun to get over all the sickness we had for a week of so FINALLY! And I am starting to sanitize the house and get all the germs out. Saturday was Art's 75th b-day party. His real birthday is Tuesday but we celebrated early and what a great day! Alot of laughs and just a great time. I was still under the weather but greatful to be outside and enjoying the nice weather. So we had that all day Saturday and then Sunday I mustard up some energy to clean the kitchen up! I got new blinds and a valance for the kitchen and bathroom they were on sale and gosh knows no passing on great sales! :) So Bill was unsure of how to put those up so I called my dad to ask if he and my mom could come over and put them up for us and they did! Thanks dad it looks great. Bill said he will do the bathroom so we will see how quickly that gets done I give him this week else I will call my dad over again and have him do it this weekend! So Bill and I are very thankful for our dads and what they do for us! We love you!!! For the rest of the week I need to clean the kitchen floor and bathroom and sanitize all other areas of the house. I thankfully have off Monday and Tuesday which just leaves me to work Wednesday which is great since my energy is still low. But I need to get back to work and make some money! So that is all this week. My mom is off this week so I am sure we will be seeing her this week sometime as well. Not sure what just visiting I guess which is always fun! Till again good day!!! Not a Again!

I took Kaden to the his doctor this morning he was coughing pretty bad and running a high temp and up every hour last night not a good night for me at all! But anyhow we went in and he has croup AGAIN!!! That poor little guy is so miserable and not much for me to do for him. They gave him a shot of dexamethasone this morning and that should help things along and he should be feeling better by Thursday foresure! Then I went to the doctor because I feel so crummy as well thanks to my husband for sharing all this with us I was tested for strep and influenza and came back negative on strep and postive on influenza and I got the shot!! Whatever!!! So now they say it should not be as bad. So now I am off work till at least Monday and will report in Monday to see how I am feelong which I hope if I get enough rest and fluids I should be ok. Since I am pregnant there is nothing to give me for it so I have to just ride it out. The drug they give is a class C drug and I will not take anything but a class a or b if needed I don't want to harm the baby. This weekend is a big weekend for us Grandpa Krapfl is turning 75 so we are having a party for him and so I hope we are all feeling well enough for that! So we will see. I am going to go for now Kaden and Bill are napping and I just got up from a nap but I am still going to lay down till Kaden gets up then we are going outside to enjoy the weather. Toodles!!!!

What can I say??

Well I had my check up again at the doctor to check on baby. And what not a nice visit. I have gained 14 pounds in 4 weeks!!! Ouch!! So doctor is a bit concered with that rapid of weight gain and advised me to see a dietician after my next vist to which I have my blood glucose test and make sure I do not have gestasional diabetes which he thinks I should be ok but none the less he is worried. Also on top of that he told be he will NOT induce me and let nature take its course. He said induction is to risky and will not do it. He will do a procedure if need be to make my eyes water that will help nature along but will not induce! Great another 11 pound baby oweeee!!!! So I am going to work hard on eating better and getting my butt on the treadmill daily for at least 20 minutes! I want to have a healthy pregnancy and not gain a ton of weight. So that is that .. Now the rest of the week not much going on Bill is playing cards Friday night and I am going to Appleton with my mom Sunday for an uppercase living party my sister is having and that is all. It sounds like a nice weekend. Kaden is doing GREAT in his big boy bed he slept through the night the previous 2 nights except last night the 2 before were great but it is getting better he falls asleep right away after I tell him to get back in bed and rub is back for a minute or so and off to dream land again. I am so proud and surprised how nicely he moved from crib to bed. Great job little man. So I better go I have to clean the bathroom and still watch Tiger play golf a little while as well before Kaden is up from nap. Till again!!!! Good day!

a nice vacation

Thursday Kaden and I went to visit my sister in Appleton and spent the night as well. I went up not only to visit my sister and niece but to take Kadens bed back that we ordered at Toys r us. Well come to find out they would not take it back since it was an online only item. I was a bit pissed off and made a few phone calls and got it figured out that UPS will pick it up at my house no charge to me. So we will see how that works out. It was a nice visit none the less. I always enjoy hanging out with my sister we have alot of fun together and always a few laughs along the way. We sure do miss leaving when the visit is done. Kaden and Kamryn had a great time together. They have a love hate relationship one minute they play together so nice and the next someone is crying and upset. But most of it is good fun. We went for a walk and let the kids splash in the puddles. Kaden and Kam thought that was alot of fun. Ken made supper we had brats and hotdogs and venision burgers on the grill the brats were great with saurkraut and baked beans and potatoe salad it was a good supper. Thanks Ken! Kaden was so tired from all the playing and walking we did it took him less than 5 minutes to fall asleep! Then we woke up and had a nice breakfeast that Jen made for us and we left after lunch we had subs and the kids had mcdonalds so all went well. I am looking foward to doing that again before the baby comes 1 more time. We are also planning a trip to the glacier ridge farm by Oshkosh they have a petting zoo and it looks really nice so 1 last trip before baby comes then I will be adjusting to sleep and 2 kids so I may be staying home for a bit to become adjusted again. time to color

I have been having a hard time coming up with new and fun things for Kaden to do during the day to keep him occupied for a little while so I can get some things done around the house. Today we tried painting with his washable paints that grandma and grandpa krapfl got him with his easel. He had a good time with it for a little while but lost interest fast. But I took a picture anyhow. So that has been our day thus far he is napping now and I am going to read my bible passage for the day and relax!!! Over the weekend we also got paint for the baby's room which is a tan color suede. I hope it is not to dark. We will have to see I hate picking out colors because they never seem to be the same on the walls at home. And we also picked up paint colors for the bathroom either a maroon color or a light green/ sage green. Anyhow so I thik we will paint come spring when the windows can be open to vent out the house. So all is going well with Kaden and his big boy bed. He naps ok in it but is still getting up crying in the middle of the night but he did that in his crib as well so nothing really unusual about that. Well that is all for now. Till next time....
