watery day

Today we started off with cleaning up the piles of grass I left in the back yard from mowing the lawn, Kaden had a good time helping me. Then the neighbors came over and we went for a walk and Kaden saw a big "tractor" not really a tractor but kind of like one he thought it was anyhow. :) And then with it being so warm out the neighbors (Tara,Nathan and Addison) invited us over to go swimming in the pool(just a mini one) but the kids loved it. Kaden did have his little swimmers on but did not give me a chance to get his clothes off and jumped on in! Too cute!! Now he is napping and I am going to relax for a bit and read a book. friends forever

Today we visted with my old friend Shelly! I have not seen her in some time and so it was great to visit with her again. She took a 1/2 day at work and came home and had the swimming pool set up for her 2 kids and so Kaden and I went swimming HE LOVED IT! I being the great mother I am forgot my camera! I ALWAYS forget that thing!!! But alot of good pictures could have been taken. So we visited for the afternoon and had to leave for Kadens nap. He actually fell asleep on the way home. Busy day playing. So that was our fun day. I was nice!! Have a great night. Time to get Kaden down to bed.

its ok

Well the doctor went ok. 1 shot only this time and a finger poke to check out his iron levels which have been a little low. Kaden now weighs 33.5 pounds and is 34 3/4 tall. So he is a growing boy he grew 2 inches since his last appointment!!! Then we went to go visit Grandma Krapfl who is doing good she just can't wait to go home! She goes to the doctor next Thursday I think it is and she will then find out if she can go home. Then we went to Culvers for custard well we ate supper there first then custard after. And we came home Bill had horseshoes and Kaden and I went by my mom's house she had a popsicle waiting for him and he helped Grandma clean out the rabbit cage and then they went on a tractor ride (Kaden LOVES tractors!!!) and then they played in the water so he had alot of fun. We came home did bath time and read books and off to bed. Well not exactly Kaden did not want to go to bed. I tried putting him down at around 9:15 and he just cried and cried so I got him back up and rocked him and he stayed up until 10:30! I think the doctor gave him a shot to stay awake :) So now it is 8:30 a.m and he is still sleeping. Today I am not sure what we are going to do. It is suppose to be hot out so we might just find something fun to do in the house and maybe later play in the pool! So that is all for now! Have a GREAT day!!!

Keep the doctor away

Today Kaden goes for is 18 month check up and along with that comes SHOTS!!!! Ouch! Poor little guy that is the worst to watch your child hurt and knowing that is the best for him yet he does not care. So anyhow then we ALWAYS take him out for ice cream for a treat of him doing soooo well! I think we are also going to visit Bills mom and see how she is doing. This weekend not much happened we grilled out steak last night and while we waited Kaden decided it was hot out and jumped in his pool with clothes and shoes on. What a silly boy but he loved it! Today we went for a walk with the neighbors and went over to play in his new sand box and Kaden LOVED it! His very first time playing in sand and he DID NOT eat it!! WOW! Amazing! Well I will write again tommorow and let you know how is appointment went and what he weighs and so on my guess is he weighs 35 pounds! What can I say he is a big boy and LOVES TO EAT!! Got nothing

Nothing has been going on so I have not written and still nothing exciting. But I thought I would write a little something so you know we are still alive :) We have been playing outside everyday since the temp has been really nice. I have been doing some late spring cleaning with windows and such. Bill and I have discussed possible potty training with Kaden they say around 18 months you can start trying and boys do take longer I guess also. So that will be coming here shortly I think!!! Else not much else this weekend I have a uppercase living party on Friday night and Bill has a golf outting Saturday and Bill's mom is coming home for a visit Sunday from the nurshing home so we will go visit up there for a bit. Else that is all that is happening in the Krapfl house. Till next time I have something to write about take care

Feeling Froggy

It has been a busy few days. Wednesday my mom went up by my sister for the week and so I was in charge of taking care of her house for the week such as picking rasberries and watering plants and taking care of the animals. So anyhow that is done and all went well. Grandma is home safe and of course came back with gifts for Kaden. He got new rain boots that look like frogs!!! How cute is that! HE LOVES THEM!!!! He thinks he is pretty cool with them on. And mom got me some stuff too of course. A tad spoiled yes maybe a little!! :) So Saturday I worked and Kaden had daddy son bonding time and today we are going to go deliver rasberries to Art (my father-in-law) and also to Corey and Sheila. So that is all that has been going on not much that is foresure which is ok I guess. Well have a good rest of your weekend. TA TA~

Just Peachy

Today had been a hot one! We played inside most of the day. We played in the basement after lunch for a change of view for Kaden which he seemed to like. New toys to play with instead of the old boring ones upstairs. :) Then after that we went outside and played in his pool we added fresh new cool water a bit more refreshing than very warm stuff. And we splashed and splashed for a while and went down the slide into his pool and to finish off the afternoon we ENJOYED a peach Kaden did not share at all. I asked him if mommy could have some and he shook his head no! How rude!!!! :) Now Kaden is down for a nap and I am going to relax before Bill gets home from work and then I go to work. What a great night!!! Toodles for now!!

Time for a hair cut

Today Kaden and I took our dog Gizmo to get a haircut. He was well over due and looked warm and uncomfortable. So while we did that Kaden and I went to the park in FDL and the petting zoo was open this time! Yeahhhh!!!! So Kaden had a good time petting all the animals and giving them kisses. I little gross I think but he had a blast he was just trying to be friendly! :) So now we are home and Kaden is napping and I am blogging and trying to get our Norton Antivirus downloaded on our computer but I THINK I got it now! Tonight I work 4 hours tonight whooooooh!!!! So nothing else on the agenda for the day. I am glad I got the haircut done Giz hates car rides so it is a dreadful experience for us both. I did talk to the vet today and we are going to try a medication on Giz to help him remember a little better on where he is. He is been having a few accidents and we think it is because he is 15 years old and had a hard time remembering where the door hence the hair cut to help him see better and also this medicine will (I hope) help with this as well. The vet is confident that it will so we will see else the next step is putting him down. The vet also told me that if he was in any pain we would know he would be crying and just look really uncomfortable and in pain. So I don't see that. So cross your fingers and hope this works! Just a sister day

Jen and Kam came over to spend the day today which was really nice! We ALWAYS have a great time together and lots and lots of laughs foresure!!! So we just hung out took the kids on a walk with Jennys dog Gunner. Then came home played outside before it got too warm out and then came in and decorated the house a bit in Kadens room and the bathroom both of which look really nice! ( Thanks Jen). So now they left around 2ish and I am making supper and then will probally go by my moms later Bill has horseshoes and call it a day! Tuesday I am taking Gizmo to get his hair cut and while that is getting done Kaden and I may go to the park in FDL to pass the time. So that is all for now. Take care till we meet again!! TA TA

Busy busy having fun

We have had a few busy fun days! Friday we went up by Jen and Kamry and were suppose to to go to the zoo up there however with the storms they were close so our next idea was visit the childrens museum and that was alot of fun. Kaden played with water and the fire dog! Oh my goodness was that soooo funny! My sister and I laughed so hard with him and that dog. He loved him and would NOT let him go. He carried him off the fire truck and wrestled with him on the floor as shown in the picture. Good times! So we had a great time with Jen and Kamryn as always. And Saturday I had scrapbooking club and Kaden came along and Corey watched him so I could listen and learn. Then we had my cousins little boys 3rd birthday party and then my dad was off so we went over there and had a bon fire and roasted marshmellows. Today Kaden and I went to church and now we are going to FDL to visit Grandma Krapfl in the nurshing home and do some shopping. So it has been a busy but fun weekend. Monday Jen and Kamryn are coming over here for the day so that will be another fun day with them Can't wait!!! Until next time enjoy the day!!!

Walking on Water

Today we went to Waupun to go on a nature walk with a floating bridge so that was fun. The kids seemed to have a good time. We went with Tara and her kids and then she treated us to custard at Culvers. YUMMMYYY!!! Now Kaden is napping and I will do a bit of clean up and my mom is coming over to watch Kaden, Bill is throwing horseshoes and I have to work. So Kaden will love that. He just lights up when he sees his Grandma. Friday we are going up by Jen and Kamryn to the zoo up there and have a picninc lunch and hang out for awhile with them. I am looking foward to that since this will be the first zoo trip for Kaden. Bill and Corey are golfing again. I know it is hard to believe but it is the truth. dog days of summer

Not much going on the last few days. Sunday night we went to Seneca to visit Grandpa Z and see the Mayville fireworks. Kaden was scared for a little while but warmed up in the end. Grandpa gave him peas which he loved and also some animal crackers. Then Monday Corey and Bill went golfing AGAIN!!! Then Bill had horseshoes and got rained out! Kaden and I went to the library to get a book for myself to read. I am trying less T.V time and more reading or other activities to come up with. So that is about it pretty boring! And to top this all off I found out Corey went to Summerfest WITHOUT ME!!! And the worst part is they brought home NO cotton candy for me! How rude!!!!!!!! I will be ok I am still crying myself to sleep at night but that should soon end. ( I know you are reading this Corey and I hope you feel bad!) :) Today nothing going on way to hot to sit outside. So we are just hanging out in the a.c house. NICE AND COOL!! Well thats all for now. Stay cool and good night!

What a Zoo

Today was fun day! We started off the morning by going for a walk then we had nap time and after that we went to FDL with Kaden to FDL park and had a good time. There was a petting zoo which was not open when we got there but there were a few animals to pet that Kaden thought was pretty neat. Then we went on a train ride which was fun too! It was special for me since my parents always took my sister and me there so that was fun to experience that with our own kid now too! Then we went to the park across the street and went down the slide a few times and then went on the swing. So a fun day and now we are doing bath time and going to see grandpa z at work at watch the fire works from Seneca so maybe the booms won't scare Kaden. Grandpa I think will like that hopefully we see him and maybe he can watch a little while with us. So I better go and get Kadens bath going so we can go. Have a great night!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

Happy 4th of July Weekend

We had a busy weekend so far and it just started. We went up by Bills parents in the afternoon on Friday since I wanted to get Kaden a nap in before we went up. So we visited with everyone for the afternoon and sat around the fire at dusk and ate alot of good food and laughed alot also. Kaden had fun with his cousins and played with bubbles and just ran around alot entertaining everyone he did really well UNTIL fireworks went off!!! Oh my gosh he does not like those at all! :( He heard one and was ok then all of a sudden they all started going off and the look on his face was priceless. So needless to say we went home I did not want to stay out and terrify him even more to the point that he will NEVER like them. Also he is not a fan of airplanes either there was plane flying over us in the afternoon doing tricks and flying pretty low well Kaden did not think to much of that noise either. Poor thing he does not like loud noises I guess. We were going to go to the Mayville Fireworks Sunday night but I don't think we will be going to those we will have to find a place further away from the boom boom but yet we can see the pretty in skies! :) Also Sunday we are going to FDL park and going on the little train they have up there that takes us around the park I think Kaden will get a kick out of that and maybe go on some other rides and visit the park for a bit have some "family" time just for us. I will take pictures and put them on Sunday. This high speed thing is pretty fast I LOVE IT!!!! Well that is all for now Kaden is napping and then if Grandpa Zastrow has off tonight we are going to visit him else we will be going up my the in-laws again this afternoon. Till next time.......

What a Change

We have High Speed!! Yeah!!!!! Our new email is krapfl08@yahoo.com. So please update us and send anything to our new address since we no longer have the old address. So anyhow that was most of our day nothing all that exciting and then Kaden and I went to FDL to get cat food and stuff and came home and he is now napping. We are going to Jim and Nikki Weigleins tonight for a cook out which will be nice to hang out with them since we have not seen them in awhile.Bill and Corey of course went golfing today as well like normal! They did not golf all that well they tell me they said it sucked! So we will see how the night goes. Thats all for now. Till next time good night!!!

Something for Grandma

Today we decided to make a pie for Grandma. A strawberry pie! A very good and easy to make so we went to the store this a.m and got all the stuff we needed we still had strawberries from Monday so we just got the other few things and came home baked it and took it to Grandmas house. Kaden was a bit fussy today since it rained most of the day and no time to play outside which is his favorite place to be. So we went there and then Grandma had a few errands to run so we went with her and that was fun. Then we went back to Grandmas and had our cake and then Grandpa got up so we got to see him for a little while before we had to leave!! Kaden misses his Grandpa since he is on nights now at the canning factory with peas. Well that is all that happened today and now we are getting ready for bed soon. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!! :)

Lets Play today

Today Kaden and I played outside for awhile and I trimmed some of the bushes outside that were overtaking the other ones around them. Then we went over by the neighbors house (Tara) and played over there for awhile and another friend of ours came over so we had a mini play date and Kaden played on the slide and then went on the swing and sat in there for at least 1/2 hour to 45 minutes! He use to hate the swing but today he LOVED it! Go figure. So then we came home and ate some lunch and much to my surprise Kaden fell asleep eating his lunch in his chair!!!!! :) How funny!!!! He did that 1 time before over by my parents house but never again until today! If I would have had my camera close I would have taken a picutre. He looked soooo cute!!!! So he is still napping and got the frig cleaned out what a fun job that is!!! yucky!!!! So I work tonight and that is it. A short work week but a busy busy weekend! Bills mom is back in a nurshing home in FDL for 4-6 weeks due to her infection they need to put the antibiotics in via I.V. and her insurance will not cover to have a home nurse come do it but will cover her to stay in a nusrshing home. UNREAL! So they are not exactly sure what kind of infection they are treating but pumping her full of very strong antibiotics to kill whatever it is. So that is that! I will go for now and have a cool wonderful evening!
